Our Salesforce ecosystem products are rapidly growing, and we’re ready to scale our outbound sales engine to match. To support this growth, we’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) responsible for generating a consistent flow of qualified, ICP-aligned demos and outbound pipeline.

As part of the hiring process, we’ll determine whether your strengths align more naturally with MergeUp, sFiles, or potentially both.

We're looking for a motivated, curious, and people-centered SDR who enjoys creating conversations, learning new skills, and experimenting with messaging to improve results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and bring positive energy to your outreach and your team.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
  • This is an in-person role in Lynchburg, VA.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, SDR/BDR work, customer-facing roles, or compelling evidence of ability to ramp quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with outbound channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in Salesforce, B2B SaaS, or cloud technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS or the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot or other common sales engagement tools.
  • Experience prospecting into technical and operational personas.
  • Comfort analyzing simple performance metrics to improve your approach.

Your Role as a SDR

Your mission is to create consistent, high-quality outbound pipeline by generating thoughtful, personalized outreach and booking qualified product demos with Salesforce stakeholders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting Salesforce ecosystem stakeholders across RevOps, IT, InfoSec, and related functions.
  • Generating qualified demos by identifying real pain, aligning ICP fit, and creating meaningful conversations.
  • Executing high-quality outbound activity across channels (email, calls, LinkedIn) with personalized messaging.
  • Adding new ICP contacts and expanding outreach within target accounts.
  • Qualifying opportunities thoroughly using our SDR checklist and handoff standards.
  • Collaborating closely with sales, product marketing, and product to refine messaging and share learnings.

As you grow, you may have opportunities to:

  • Influence outbound strategy and persona-based messaging.
  • Help build SDR playbooks and process improvements.
  • Provide insights that shape product and GTM direction.
